Questions to ask the surgeon or radiologist or cardiologist regarding Carotid Balloon Angioplasty/ Stenting

Is the surgeon Certified in Vascular Surgery by the American Board of Surgery? Or is the Radiologist Certified in Interventional Radiology ? or is the cardiologist Certified in Interventional Cardiology?

Has the physician published his results in any peer reviewed specialty journals or presented his results at any vascular/radiology/cardiology society meetings?

How many carotid balloon angioplasty procedures has the doctor performed?

What are the doctor's personal results regarding stroke and TIA after carotid balloon angioplasty/stenting?
